Overall, I enjoy living at the province. It’s a good community, good amenities, and great location. It is a very clean, nice place to live and the service is very good.
Very modern looking and comfortable living space, but the parking tends to be an issue. There’s not enough spaces in the resident or guest parking areas which causes issues sometimes. I love the layout of my place and all the amenities provided- like 24/7 gym, study rooms, and movie theater.
I really enjoy living in the Province because they offer us so much, including tanning, the pool, and the gym. The apartments are very nice also.
I loved living here. Such a great addition to my undergrad off campus experience. Having the pool was a nice amenity. The staff was normally pretty nice and helpful. The maintenance was always on top of things and very friendly. Can be loud at times but I liked the environment
Its been fine, its loud sometimes on weekends, the walls are very thin. I wish they would salt the steps more, they get very slippery in the cold. Unit was not cleaned at all prior to move in
My experience at province has been great! Its on the same street as all of my classes and is in close proximity to downtown. I have lived here for 3 years.
The staff here is a joke. That isn't counting how long it took to fix a chair that they said would be fixed in July didn't get fixed till January. They also tow cars for no reason and makeup fines if you even look at them weird.
The province is the nicest off campus apartments here in Kent. The apartments are beyond nice on the inside and I have yet to have an issue with anything. Even at night, you don’t feel in danger when walking from your car to your apartment or even coming from the gym in the clubhouse. Overall, I cannot think of one bad thing to say about this place. It’s been the best two years to be completely honest.
Apartments are nice, but not fully cleaned when we arrived. Found multiple earrings under a couch when we moved in. Trash system is frustrating. Really enjoyed every other experience.
Not bad! Does feel a little bit like a dorm however with rules about trash, noise, etc. Maintenance is slow on arrival times but it is awesome that it is pet friendly!
I’m so happy to be a resident at the province. The safety, the quality of service, the luxury, the staff, the neighbors, and the convenience.... all of these are great characteristics that I enjoy being here at the province. Totally recommend people to live here.
This is such an awesome place to live. It’s very close to campus, has great amenities, and the staff has always been so kind and very helpful.
The Province is an extremely accommodating and friendly place to live. The apartments are spacious and are fully furnished. Living here has been a great experience for me while attending Kent State.
Great overall! But walls are too thin causing me to here everything my roommates do and lots of noise from the apartments surrounding us. However, besides the noise issue everything else is great
Cannot complain about much. Apartment is a decent size, and I love that I have a balcony. Kinda wish the beds were queen size but that’s not a big problem. Only thing I would complain about is that the furniture just deteriorates over time.
This is the worst staff I have ever dealt with. I cannot believe they even have residence with the way they treat everyone. I was so excited to get out of this place. I have never dealt with such nasty and rude people in my life.
This has been the best possible experience for me living here at The Province. I love the location the most, it is so close to campus and downtown. I never want to miss to a different place.
I have lived at the province for 3 years, I think the apartment are really nice and clean and roomy. The staff if very nice and helpful! My only complaint is that the towing services and parking availability could use some work.
I love really love the location of my apartment and how separated each complex is so there is very little noise. I could not be happier with Province and am so glad I resigned my lease.
No 200 dollar reward like I was emailed. Feel scammed. Spamming my email inbox too. Trash bins overflow and way expensive to live there.....
Amazing living space and maintenance for the grounds are a lot better. Need better insulation in apartments though. You can feel cold air from outside in most places of the apartment.
Staff and maintenance have been super helpful and nice. I love the location of living here and would recommend it to someone who is looking to live close to campus.
The province is a comfortable, clean, and convenient place to live off campus. It’s secure, fully furnished, and a reasonable distance from central campus.
Honestly I feel like my experience at province hasn't been the best.. I have had some roommate issues and sure province helped make the arrangements for me to move but all these hidden fees have been ridiculous ( also I ended up getting into a smaller room than what I originally had in my old apartment but pay higher rent) also I feel like the staff just doesn't really care about its residents some times and don't show a lot of compassion for people going in very tough situations.I really didn't like how i ended up paying more rent than I was told when i had to switch apartments, and then on top of that I learned my roommates pay less than I do and on the website its also cheaper price but I still pay the high price of the apartment from when I signed last november even though i technically signed a new lease and I felt it should be the price I paid at my old apartment or the one on the website. I made a work order over a week ago and it still hasn't been filled. All these things and the location are nice to look at but like the experience and reality of living here hasn't been the best and I feel the people managing the property should work on this and be more accommodating.
The management definitely needs improvement as well as the apartments themselves.. I’ve had so many issues here and will be warning anyone that asks on my horrible experience. I have paid so many fees and had to transfer apartments bc of a roommate issue which made my rent increase as well as a fee for moving into another one of their apartments. And clearly the person I lived with was and issue because all the other girls that lived in the 4x4 moved out because of this one roommate that was an issue. I probably paid around $750 in fees from the beginning of signing my lease, service fees , insurance, transfer, and any other issues i incurred while living there.
.They have idiots in the office!!! Maintenance is very slow. Nice for the location but not for the price. Wish they made more activities for those who have later classes than 8 pm
i love living at province!! the only downfall is the thin walls, cheap couches, and no tanning. not big issues but good to be noted! (: i would defiantly recommend someone to live here
I like everything about province. I like being close to campus and having my own room and bathroom. the gym is also a very nice feature to use!
I really enjoyed the whole experience. My apartment is very nice and I have already renewed my lease for next year! All the amenities are so nice and the staff is great!
Province has become my home for the past two years. The location is unbeatable and the staff is awesome The community is by far my favorite.
It's ok. Me and my roommate has had lots of tension with our 3rd roommate. I've put in 3 maintaince requests almost a month ago and no one has came!
Nice but super expensive, also packed parking. When I get home from work around midnight I have to park all the way across the complex and walk alone through the whole parking lot in the dark.
Great place to live. Fully furnished and the best apartment to live, extremely close to campus. Plus pet friendly! The province is safe and affordable.
great location and amenities! love visiting the pool in the summer. Love the lay out of the apartments and having my own bathroom! A short 5 minute walk to campus
the province is a very nice apartment complex for college students. it is close to campus and has a lot of amenities. i really enjoy living here.
The province at kent has been a great living experience for me and my roommates thus far. It is a high quality apartment that feels more like home everyday!
I really like living here at Province, however I do think the only thing is that when I moved in my apartment was EXTREMELY dirty and I had to clean over and over again. if the apartment was actually deep cleaned before I moved in I think I would like it even more. I just don't think my apartment is very clean even though I myself clean it almost every day.
It’s a nice place to live. I like how large the rooms are and the community. I hope next year to live here again. The pool is super nice too
Very average community and office sucks. It could be a lot better. i'm very disappointed and the hype around the place is false. Only positive is location.
Dogs live in the apartment complex. I've met a lot of good dogs in my time here. Some of their names are Kemba and Sully. I love all dogs but not cats
My resident experience has been great at province! I have lived here for 3 years and was able to live near all of my friends and on the same street as my studio classes! I love province and have enjoyed my last years at Kent living here.
Loved living here. Super convenient location to campus. Close to the downtown/bars/shopping, as well as the university. Good maintenance and friendly staff
The staff isn't great at replying to emails and communicating in a timely manner. Two years in a row I have had issues with them not sending me my lease renewal. Both years I have had to contact them at least once a week for over a month in order to finally get my renewal.
Overall the experience living in the Province has been good. There are some things that could be improved upon, such as the garbage area and how parking is done. The property is clean and well kept, The maintenance staff is efficient and very friendly.
I love the location of the Province. It's an easy walk to class. However, the walls are super thin in my apartment and it was really dirty when I moved in. I think the staff is really great and the amenities are too.
I like living here, but sometimes I wish that our neighbors wouldn't always through pumpkins. I live on the first floor and I'm worried that small animals will end up in my apartment because they are looking for food. Also, the parking (not the spaces but the way it is shaped) is terrible and is very susceptible to crashes.
I have had a good resident experience, the maintenance service is very reliable. The printer stops working about once a week but other than that, the province is perfect.
Living at the Province has its perks but it also does not. The maintenance team is incredible and gets things done in a timely manner. The floor plans are perfect and nicely arranged. The only downside is the towing feature. While it is proactive, it is also poor. The gentleman who conducts the service is very aggressive and does not pay attention to the patrons around him. In several instances, he has come close to hitting me or my friends while aggressively hurrying to tow.
Nice apartments! I live in the 3 bedroom townhome and I'm glad not to be able to live without people above me. Renewed for next year! One of the better options in Kent.
The only negative about living here is the appliances aren't the best and the apartment isn't put together that well. Its definitely way too much money for what you're getting. Overall, on the positive side, the atmosphere of Province is amazing! I love the staff and I am in walking distance from all of my classes.
I love the look and feel of the Province environment. I feel like I’m surrounded by a nice community, although they can get a little rowdy at times. I just wish there was reserved parking for each resident, along with a guest spot, near the building in which we live at.
I have loved living at Province! It has been so great living so close to campus and having everything I need. The apartments are really nice and the community is great. Plus the clubhouse is an awesome place to hang out with the pool and gym.
I’ve lived here for over a year now and I’m so glad I made the decision to stay here. The complex has a safe feel to it, my apartment is so comforting, and it’s close to campus. What more could you ask for! The staff is amazing as well. They are always on top of things and are a big help with anything I call them about. Maintenance is also a really great group of guys! Overall very happy with the Province!
So far my experience as a Province resident has not been one I have been fond of. Listed below are the contributing factors as to why I will not be renewing my lease for the following year:
1. The parking passes were not the best idea. There should be a better system in place regarding the towing of vehicles at this property. Many students have multiple parking passes due to the fact that they drive to class and must also have permits for campus. With this being said, the fact that people who live here can have their cars towed here without a first time offender warning is simply unacceptable. I got towed this afternoon because my parking pass fell off the mirror and the fee for the towing is outrageous. 218 dollars for a car that had been towed for three hours! I suggest bringing back stickers for the windshield. It truly makes the most logical sense.
2. The dumpster is nasty. Infested with bees and flies. Some are allergic to bees, so not only is this disgusting, but unsafe.
3. The weight for maintenance could improve.
4. I did not get apartment keys even though I requested many times. Also, my mailbox key does not work.
5. Printers suck. Very unreliable. Often times offline and staff doesn't know how to fix it. Staff can be unfriendly/intimidating at times.
Love the townhome that I am staying in! It's great being pet friendly so that I can have my puppy with me. Wish there were places to throw her waste out, though.
Not cleaned from last year which is really disappointing considering I’m paying 750 a month also there should be cameras in the parking lots w all the break ins of cars/ keying
My apartment was filthy when I moved in, and it’s annoying that I’m paying way more than other people in the same unit as me just because I signed my lease before them. Other than that management is really friendly and I love my unit, and I like how involved province is with their residents.
I have had a great experience here so far! Love the giveaways and goat yoga (idea since it rained :/) the community is a very nice group of people and so far have been helpful
I like it but there’s room for improvements in sound reduction and maintenance responses. I like all the Amentities included like the internet, cable, and excersise room.
My experience has been great. I am also an employee (community assistant) at Province. All employees get 20% off of rent which is a huge plus!
Overall, I am content with The Province. Although there are a few things that have disappointed me greatly. My couch is completely fallen apart to the point where I cannot sit on it. I have blankets covering it because it ruins my clothes. Another thing that has disappointed me is that there is no longer a tanning salon. One of the reasons I moved here is because that was advertised as being one of the amenities. The price also keeps rising which is completely ridiculous and most likely I will not be living here again. Security is another issue of mine as well, and there needs to be cameras. The location is great and the staff is friendly though.
The Province is a great community to live in. It is very close to campus and the apartments are of good quality. The one thing I am not impressed with the cleanliness when I moved in and the upkeep of the grounds.
The maintenance staff is always helpful and responsive. I love the location and that I am able to walk to campus in under four minutes. The pool is awesome in the summer too.
I appreciate that Province is so strict on parking because it allows us residents to always have a spot open for us. I just wish the parking lots were a little bit cleaner because there is trash everywhere.
My townhome is super convenient to the location of the architecture building. Feels super homie. Buildings A and B are great because they’re away from the other buildings and you don’t get a lot of noise from parties because the people in these buildings are more respectful because they cost more. Only negative I’ve had here is putting work orders in and getting the done. I’ve put in more than 6 work orders for one item and it still hasn’t been fixed and I haven’t been contacted about it even being fixed.
Overall it is wonderful, very nice and accommodating staff. Neighbors are not awful unlike other places. Furniture and living areas are nice and open.
I love it here! The community is for the most part pretty clean. The pool is very nice. Staff is super friendly and reliable. With it being close to campus, you can’t beat it!
Excellent staff, all amenities needed at hand. Extremely impressed with facilities and overall apartment. I love the events that are held regularly for all residents. Would highly recommend!
Had a great time living at the Province! I couldn't have asked for an apartment with a better location to campus. I loved being able to walk and bike to class and downtown with ease.
Aleesia McKinney M.
It is nice for a college apatment, but not the amount we pay for it. The furniture is falling apart along with the bathroom tiles. The molding on our cabnits also came off
Everyone is super nice and helpful. love having a big bed and closet and my own bathroom. Super close to all my classes. I absolutely love living here
I love the place. No complaints at all. Everything is very nice and easy to figure stuff out. Province is my number one place to live. I made the right choice.
I love living here! the location is great and I love my roommates!! not only do I love the location I go and workout in the fitness center all the time!! the staff have been very helpful with all my questions and needs!
Pretty good so far. I had a clogged drain though for my bathtub and sink, but they were fixed fairly fast. Love the pool and balconies. Easy to walk to campus
I really like the layout and design of the apartments. It’s also in a prime location if your classes are towards front campus! Overall I really enjoy living here. I just wish there were more dumpsters to put trash in, because the only one is quite a walk away from most of the buildings and fills up quickly.
Besides having some issues when moving in, I have definitely enjoyed living here.
I may even renew my lease to continue living here next year as well.
The apartment is really nice but the rooms need to be cleaned better before move in and so do the grounds. Overall a great place but could be a lot better.
It has been okay. I love the location of Province, although maintenance has not been very helpful and also the first week the printers were down.
Nice staff! I wish the parking situation was a little better, but it ultimately is a very nice + clean place to live! The location is also ideal.
Its a place that has spots close to campus. If you're a business student its very convenient. I enjoy the apartments however a lot of the appliances are outdated and need repaired
I never get anything fixed when I ask and they take way too much money every month. It is very over priced when it does not need to be. The pricing online will be different from what I have to pay every month. Don't live here.
The facility is amazing and I get my own privacy. The gym is good, it is a walkable distance to the university. It is a happening place. My roommates are so friendly. Everyone is
I had a few things wrong in my apartment.. the sink, blinds and washing machine were all broken but matnince was helpful and fixed all the problems.
The Province is a welcoming and comfortable place to live. Its location is great because it's basically right on campus. The inside of the apartment is very open. However you have to provide your own lighting for the bedrooms and living room.
Province has been the best place for me to live. The location is unbeatable and the community is awesome. I love the maintanice team and managers!
My experience was pretty good for the most part. I didn’t have any issues except when we first moved in. We needed a couple things replaced and cleaned.
As always, amazing staff! The people at the office are so nice, and very welcoming. The services are amazing as always too. I love that the place got quieter than before ever since we moved to a townhouse. However, recently we haven’t been feeling comfortable at our stay as there were some maintenance requests that we posted 3 weeks ago that haven’t been worked on yet. They just got our dryer fixed yesterday (so we stayed for 3 weeks with no dryer!) and some of the notes we gave them, they said that they will not going to fix it and that we just have to live with it. I did not like that response, but at least we told them about the issues so that we won't be charged for it once our lease is up. Very disappointing to be honest to get such response after renewing our lease and staying here for the second year! I just hope that they could take a better look at this, and I’m hoping that the quality of stay at the province will get back to how it use to be...
IT SUCKS DICK! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND EVER LIVING HERE. PARKING IS TERRIBLE, RENT IS OVERPRICED, WATER IS COLD, AC DOESN'T WORK. but the bed is comfy.
This is way better than my last apartment. It is extremely close to campus which makes going to class easier. They are very clean and nice apartments. I love having my own washer/dryer.
I enjoy living here, everything is modern and up to date. The rooms, closets and bathrooms are spacious and the furniture is very well taken care of.
I love everything about living here. I love the pool and it’s distance to campus. I enjoy going to the gym and like living so close to all of my friends.
As week two comes to an end I have enjoyed living at Province. The only thing that was concerning was that my furniture in the living room was pretty damaged. Other than that it’s a great location and I think I’ll enjoy it here !
Its been very pleasent living here, I have enjoyed all the ammenties included with living here at province. So far I have had no issues, and the staff is very easy to work with if i do have any questions or concerns
So far, I've really enjoyed The Province and feel like the quality of the apartment is awesome. I love the furniture that the unit came with and appreciate the parking spots as well.
It has been good so far just wish there was a jacuzzi to relax. Feels wonderful to have my own space and not live in dorms. Have not swam in the pool but will.
Love living here! my experience has been fantastic! the only complaint I would have is that I rarely get a parking spot anywhere near my room because of what seems to be a lot of guests parking where they are not supposed to.
The inside of the apartment is very pretty and I love the size of my room and closet and I love the location of my unit. My only complaint is the parking situation isn't always great and I have had to park really far away at times which is frustrating since I pay a lot for rent.
Province is the best apartment complex at kent. All of the other apartments are overpriced for what they offer. Also province’s location is perfect because its is right across from campus.
Such a nest and nice apartment complex! Having the furniture there already helped out so much. Never have had any issues with neighbors or noise!
This apartment is in a good location, and allows for a great community with the . different apartment buildings. Parking is easy and convenient!
Great. No complaints. I like the staff and the buildings. The apartment is nice and the furnishing is nice. I enjoy everything about the province apartments
The clubhouse is very nice, but the rooms are not as pictures, and not described on the website how they actually are. While they are nice, there are no lights in the bedrooms or living room, and our rooms were not cleaned before we came. Other than those few things, its a very nice place
The Province is a very nice place to live. They have very nice apartments and are very close to campus making the commute to class and work easy!
The province is great. I love the pool, the theatre room and the gym. The apartment is nice and so close to campus. I love my roomates, and sharing province with them
Great apartment. Great Location. Looking forward to a good year. Apartment is like new and very spacious. Bedrooms are large. Living space is large.
My overall experience wasn’t bad with province. Just my move in started off with my room not being cleaned at all and the floor damaged in the living room space . We had a couple problems with our smoke detector as well and no one wanted to help us out . I also wish that the tanning bed amenitie was fixed because it never worked and was broken the whole time .
Very nice facilities, the apartments are clean and kept very wells. The walk to campus is extremely convenient! The province staff is very helpful
Great location! I enjoy having my own bathroom and bedroom. The maintenance team is very good at responding quickly to all requests. The only downside at Province is the dishwasher and stove are not that good. Also the couches are very cheap and tear easily.
Very good although there were some complications. They were able to sort everything out but not the best communication. I don’t think they take students seriously.
It's a great place. I love the apartment and my friends that are in it. Great location to campus closer than my dorm was. The pool and weight room are great and its a fantastic place.
I am so glad I will Be moving out of this apartment and the lease.
Great! Very clean very roomy. Awesome location, I see myself renewing my lease after this year and I am very happy with the way they treat their residents.
Apartment was nice, other than the ripped chair and came in the apartment. I still can’t comprehend why they won’t let anyone move in early considering the fact that I’m paying for the entire month!!! Will not be living here next year for that simple fact alone. The rent for August should be pro-rated for the amount of time we are living there.
Living in Province has been a great experience for me. It is a great location for all my classes and a ton of my friends live here. The amenities are great too!
Great living space and very good location to downtown and campus. The pool is also super nice! I would recommend this apartment building especially if you have classes on this side of campus
Very great apartment complex! Would 10/10 live here again if it wasn't so expensive. Great location close to campus and extremely friendly staff. They are also pet friendly too now which is awesome!
The apartments are super clean and the lighting makes you always feel at home. Maintenance and the office are always extremely quick to respond to any issue you may have to see that it is resolved quickly. Wouldn’t want to live anywhere else in Kent. Definitely the best place to live at.
The workers made singing easy:) my neighbors seem super super friendly!! And I’m most excited about the pool and free coffee!! Over all looks great!
I was a bit skeptical leasing here because my brother had some issues years before. However, I believe the owning company is different now than it was in 2011. So far staff has been welcoming and so warm that I am excited to lease.
Close to campus and easy to get places. Everyone seems nice and friendly. Seems nice idk I haven’t lived here yet. I liked the tour rooms though.
I have stayed at my friends house here a few times and I absolutely love it. The facilities are great and the staff and building is so helpful I love it. I can’t wait to live here in the fall!
The province at Kent is such an amazing place to live! With being a college student it’s so peaceful throughout the day and is in perfect walking distance from campus. I always highly recommend this apartment complex; it’s perfect to be honest.
I love the location, I love how easy it was to pick my room for the upcoming school year, I love the pool , gym and study rooms they have available for us students to do well in school, and most of all I love the people I’m living with.
Have not yet moved in but it seems like it is going to be an amazing experience. I have many friends who lie in Province and love it. I am excited to have a pool and be able to walk to Franklin quickly everyday without worrying about a car.
Haven’t moved in yet but everyone seems nice and am updated on my status! Everything seems clean and updated! I’m so excited to move in and excited to become part of a family.
Overall community has been amazing. There are many events put on by staff and they are always helpful and kind. Amenities offered are very convenient and fun to use! Maintenance for my roommates and I have been a wonderful help and are always right around the corner. On the down side, I wish our furniture was nicer -our couch is peeling a lot. Also, wish the floor was covered more in carpet - it always looks dirty no matter how much my roommates and I clean it. Overall though I love living here and can't wait to come back for the upcoming school year!
The application process was super simple and fast. The employees were very friendly and helpful during all tours and visits. Would 100% recommend to anyone in college looking for great housing.
I haven’t officially moved in yet but living at the province is going to be great. It has a good location being so close to campus and downtown as well as a lot to offer to their residents!!
Very welcoming staff and great apartments! Very excited to move in! It’s also nice how close to Kent Campus it is! Very glad they are allowing pets this year!
It's pretty cool there, I don't know what it's like living there yet so I gave it a 3 rating but my roommates and I are looking forward to our stay next semester.
Absolutely love the entire experien]ce at The Province! Its all been been very easy, and helpful. I am so looking forward to move in day! There are alot of opportunities, to meet new people, and find things to do!
Living at The Province is so much better than living in the dorms. It’s close to campus. It’s clean, modern, and has so many options.
However, it is still an apartment complex and has the usual disadvantages of one.
I'm beyond excited to move in to Province with some of my best friends next month! This is my first time living away from home besides the dorms, and you all have made the experience so easy.
I have heard only good things about the rooms, and experience as a whole I can wait until I get to move in an experience it for myself! super excited about the 24/7 gym.
I have yet to move in but I love how easy it has been to sign with province! There's always someone to help which makes the process so much easier! I just got my apt assignment and me and my roomies could not be more excited for move in!!
I haven’t moved into the apartment yet and signed a lease back in January. I haven’t heard anything about payments, or move in day. I would have liked to have this information sooner.
Its too expensive, I've heard bad things about maintenance issues, you cant get out of a lease very easily, they require all these extra payments on top of your rent and claim its because of the amenities they offer (which you won't use all the time anyway). I regret being too hasty and signing a lease, there are much cheaper options in the area that are just as good. Please think about ALL of your options before living here.
The province was really nice!! I loved my apartment, I am just too busy to really enjoy it. However I definitely would recommend the Province to a friend :)
Overall, province is a wonderful community filled with friendly faces. I enjoy the easy acccess too mail, parking, pool, trash, and other services.
Excellent place to live! Very close to the school so its very easy as a student! Wonderful apartment and amenities! Very close walk to downtown and other places.
Staff is very helpful, very welcome and accommodating! The rooms are very nice and a wonderful distance from campus! The movie theatre, tanning booth and gym are a wonderful luxury!!
I love the Province! The people who live here are so nice and fun and it’s such a cool environment. It’s not loud or dirty but it’s still a good time!
Very helpful. Can’t wait to move in. I love that it’s so close to campus makes life so much easier. The lease agreement is very easy to understand
It’s pretty alright there. I think a 2.5 star rating is well deserved due to the fact that I have never lived there and don’t know what to expect
Overall the apartment complex is extremely nice. Sometimes the complex is loud; however, that’s expected for a college area. My only real complaint is that the gym equipment seems to always be broken; however, everything else about the area is wonderful. Great distance from campus and spacious rooms!
I am so excited to live in province. i know i am going to have so much fun with my friends that i am living with. the complex looks like home!
I loved living here. Liked that it was close to campus and just as close to downtown and bars/restaurants. I always felt safe and maintenance was never a problem. They always came when needed. It was loud but this is a college campus and parking is minimal.
Province is a really nice community with great amenities. The pool and clubhouse is definitely the best part. Plus being right by campus is great!
I absolutely love living at province! The staff are always so kind and helpful! The area is so close to campus and its a very nice community to live in.
the province in kent is a very great place to live if you are going to kent state. it is so close to campus and a very nice community. i would recommend it.
The province apartments are the best ones in kent in my opinion! Very new and up to date, they have many different options for leasing and they even have a pool!
Province has been good about communication and the amenities are good, close to campus and makes it easier to get to class and close to downtown
Though I have yet to move in to my apartment, the leasing process was easy and the staff was very helpful and accommodating to me and my roommates.
I am a new resident and have not yet officially moved in but I am very excited for next year. The complex looks amazing and I have heard nothing but good things.
Great living space! Room is very nice & i love the modern furniture choice. I also appreciate how many fun and free events are hosted at the Province.
Overall, I am enjoying my stay here. My only complain would be the trash area gets pretty “messy” sometimes as trash is layer on the floor rather than into the dumpster. Other than that, everything is great!
I truly enjoy living st the province. The apartments are lovely and staff and maintenance are very kind, helpful, quick to respond to any questions and concerns.
I enjoy the location a lot because it’s in walking distances to all my classes and downtown Kent. However when it’s about 3 in the morning and your neighbors haven’t quieted down the security takes forever to get to them.
I’ve had An amazing experience here. People are nice, community has amazing amenities as well. Love the pool and the gym and the environment of the community is outstanding
Staff tour was so great! The girl that led my tour was able to answer all my questions. Her tour was thorough and she was so knowledgeable. I am so excited to move in!
Great time living here. Maintenance is usually pretty good. The clubhouse and pool close with office hours which is very inconvenient on weekends.
Love The Province. So excited to try out the fitness center and pool. I like the fact that I have my own bathroom and own bedroom. All the rooms are very spacious and allow for a lot of room.
I’m very excited to live in providence because I heard they got all new tempropedic beds that I am excited to sleep on. I also like how close they are to campus
Perfect location next to campus and modern look to it. The pool is a plus too. I am excited to use the movie theater and workout center too!
Been a great experience so far! The people are great and always willing to help. Everything is easy to navigate and pretty user friendly. Makes living here so much fun!
I love living here. The location is absolutely amazing and I couldn’t be happier. One thing that could really be improved is the size of the workout facility, it is quite small. My favorite feature of the apartments is having laundry inside each unit.
I haven’t yet lived at province but so far the help I have received from everyone working for province has been amazing. Everyone is so kind and understanding. I am sure it’s going to be an amazing experience living there.
I love living in province! It has so many ammenities and the staff is always very helpful and available whenever you need them. I haven’t had any problems thus far!
Province is a very clean place to live. Maintenance was always very helpful when things broke. The trash situation could be a pain because it was always backed up and you had to walk far to it but everyone was always helpful.
I’ve lived at Province for 2 years now and loved every second of it. The community is perfect for me, it is always fun and up beat. The staff makes sure that our apartments are our home.
As always, amazing staff! The people at the office are so nice, and they welcome you as you are a part of their family. The services are amazing as always too. I love that the place got quieter than before. The maintenance though became really bad. It takes them forever to correspond to us, and they keep making promises to get the job done, and they never do! That is something that they should look deeper into
province is a nice place to live it’s newer so the apartments are nice, it’s a great location from campus it makes it a really easy walk to campus. those are the main perks, other than that it’s not maintained amazingly, and the staff is not very helpful at all
I love the Province. I lived there last year and then decided to move back because I loved the community and quality of the apartments. I would recommend to anyone.
I love everything about living here! the community is very friendly and I always feel safe and at home. I love having the gym pool and tanning as well
I really like my apartment and I appreciate how maintenance comes as fast they can to fix the issue. I also really like the leasing manager. She is very sweet.
My experience with province wasn’t bad. I was kind of disappointed that we didn’t get some of the amenities we payed for. For example, the tanning bed never worked and the pool was closed half the time.
I love living at the province! It's a wonderful, clean, safe place. The only issue I have is that the walls are very thin so you can hear a lot of whats going on around you. I also wish that there were pet waste pick up stations on the property, so that it was easier to pick up after your pet. I would recommend the provence to anyone looking for a nice place close to campus!
I really love living at province, there are so many amenities and the apartments are very nice. they come furnished and if there is ever an issue maintanence is awesome.
It has been good, the staff is super sweet and kind but they never follow up like they say they will. I referred multiple people and they kept telling me they would let me know and i was the one who had to bother them.. hopefully someone didn't put my name down and prov didn't even tell me
We loved our experience at the province. The only negative is that the building is not that insulated so electric bills tend to be quite high if you want it at a comfortable temperature. Other than that, you can't beat the location and the facilities!
My tour was very informative and my tour guide was super nice. The apartment that I am going to live in is perfect for me! I can’t wait to move in.
Been an amazing experience! I have been here since August and still I feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed with school. Can’t wait to live here again next year!
great place to live and great location close to campus! Awesome amenities such as the pool and workout area. Excited to live here again next year.
I haven’t had any problems with this complex and I’m so happy everything is working out well and settling nice. I can’t wait to room with my buddies and attend Kent State
Province is a really great place to live! The staff in the office is always helpful and the clubhouse is very nice. If there are any problems with your apartment, it is super easy to fix and I haven't had any problems with the process. :)
Enjoy the space, and enjoy the area. However eltric bill is outrageously high. O work 50+ hours a week. So, not there to run electricity up.
Its a nice place compared to other apartments, but it could be better. If the apartments were kept up better by professionals in-between tenants then I think it would be worth what you end up paying for.
I love how kind and helpful the front staff is! Every time I have needed anything, the front staff has been more than willing to help me! The community is great.
I love the location to my classes. The office staff is always kind and helpful. Having a gym in the complex is a plus. They also let pets in the apartments.
A great place to live with plenty to do. The complex is always clean and the rooms are super comfortable and provide a safe environment to be in. Best of all campus is one minute away so you never have to worry about parking.
Great community can get a little loud and busy on some weekends. Staff is nice and are readily available. Would like to see more locations for trash and recyclables
I love living here, the way the community is up kept is second to none, I have a great pride about living here and I’m sure all other residents do too.
Great location, good people, supportive administration with good service. Maintenance is very responsive and acts to the residences needs in good time.
Province is a great place to live, lots of friendly people and the clubhouse is so convenient. I always feel welcomed and heard. The gym is also a great thing to have so close.
I love the province apartment I'm in, and the location is perfect. The gym and pool are awesome too. However, things fall apart often (the vent above our microwave broke, knobs in the kitchen are loose, etc), which is annoying when considering the price of rent.
Province is really nice and so close to campus. Nice amenities and nice staff! I love having my own room and bathroom too! Cant wait to use the pool in the summer.
I absolutely love the location, amenities, and apartments! Everything is so close to you: your friends, your classes, or even your job. I love the pool!
My apartment community is very friendly and the people that work here are very easy to talk to and ask questions to. Everyone is helpful and kind. Love it.
overall nice apartments, minor issues here and there but nothing too bothersome. however, this is the first year allowing pets and they have not reinforced residents picking up after their dogs and it is inconvenient for us that don’t have dogs.
Province hasn't changed since I last reviewed them which is disappointing. I take the surveys and leave reviews and no one has contacted me about the issues and bad experiences i have been having while living here. The electricity is way too expensive during the winter months. I ended up having a bill of $186 for just me in a 4x4L and the thermostat was mostly set to 71 during that time I was billed which is quite ridiculous. And i wish they would detail how this bill was split because the bill itself said maybe $286. I Honestly I feel like my experience at province hasn't been the best.. I have had some roommate issues and sure province helped make the arrangements for me to move but all these hidden fees have been ridiculous ( also I ended up getting into a smaller room than what I originally had in my old apartment but pay higher rent) also I feel like the staff just doesn't really care about its residents some times and don't show a lot of compassion for people going in very tough situations. I really didn't like how i ended up paying more rent than I was told when i had to switch apartments, and then on top of that I learned my roommates pay less than I do and on the website its also cheaper price but I still pay the high price of the apartment from when I signed last November 2017 even though i technically signed a new lease and I felt it should be the price I paid at my old apartment or the one on the website. Also the other roommates living in that apartment moved out because the bad roommate we had was crazy and literally made living there not fun or even comfortable. in my new apartment i had to switch to I made a work order over a week ago and it still hasn't been filled (2 months) . All these things and the location are nice to look at but like the experience and reality of living here hasn't been the best and I feel the people managing the property should work on this and be more accommodating. Also i had mail in September that was said to be delivered to the office and someone from the office received the package but i was never notified or received my package so I can't exactly tell if it just got lost or someone else got my mail.
The province it a great experince. The apartments are super nice and its above and beyond for a college apartment. I would highley suggest it so anybody
Loved living here. Super close to campus, nice amenities, friendly staff. A little pricey, but worth it compared to other off campus options
It has been great living at province! The apartments are so nice and the amenities are great! Plus it’s close to campus so I can walk to my classes!
I like how the province always makes sure that their residents are comfortable and getting all the services they need. Me and my roommates are enjoying our stay and the property is always clean. There is an issue however with maintenance as it has been more than a month since we raised a claim and called in 4 times, but they haven’t got that done yet. They probably got busy, but this behavior haven’t been done before as they get things done right away! Being at the province is probably the best decision we have made ☺️
Great quality apartments. I love living at the province, and you get your own bathroom on top of everything. Also, they have an awesome gym and swimming pool.
love it, great living accommodations & staff. however, really wish there were more places to put trash//a better system than just the one dumpster
I’ve been locked out of my apartment twice now and had to drive 40 mins to my boyfriends because nobody could get me into my apartment which is completely ridiculous.
I love living at the province kent. it’s the best place to live. it has the best location and best community of people around it . though it is pricy it is worth all of the amenities that’s included.
This place is great! It has a great club house with a big pool and gym! Even a movie theater. It is in a great location with a very short walk to campus !
Great place to live! Very clean, up-to-date, and includes all of the major living essentials (plus more). The units have a great location relative to campus and downtown and the staff is wonderful!
For the most part, my experience living at The Province has been good! I haven't had many issues with my living space. Rarely if I do, I know I can contact the staff and they will help. Overall, the apartment community and environment of Province is very friendly and safe.
super good security and love the amount of space given in the apartment. noise is to a minimum and everyone around us is super nice and welcoming
good experience. really convenient location for all of my classes. also the amenities are nice. made some really good friends at the province
I moved into a hardly cleaned apartment and spent my entire first weekend cleaning, not to mention things are always breaking. But the staff is full of great people and always want to help.
I think that having a community rewards system is a really great way to show residents that they are cared about, and it’s a great way to give back.
Safe environment. Love that the apartments come furnished and with all of the amenities and little extras that they do. Also appreciate how quickly management and maintenance handle any fixes or issues with apartment promptly.
Neighbors are loud and leave trash outside for days and sometimes leave it scattered in parking lot. Staff is wonderful and respond to complaints.
Great staff!! And living quarters are nice with a great community of students. Only one minor complaint: there are not enough dumpsters and it is regularly blowing around the parking lot/through cottages when dumpster is overfilled, please stop directing The apartment occupants to the cottages’ dumpsters.
This apartment complex is amazing! The staff and maintenance are so friendly and communication with them is super easy. The clubhouse is very inviting and the rooms are great!
Living at province is great! Living close to campus is a great perk. I can walk to my classes and not have to purchase a campus parking pass!
The Province has the best location to campus! It is so nice to leave my car and not worry about driving it anywhere. I wish we had a hot tub, though!
Province is such a great place to live! It’s a five minute walk to all of my classes, the parking is great, and the clubhouse offers a wide variety of things for students.
I lived in Province my sophomore year and loved it so much I'm moving back in for my Senior year! I feel at home at Province and I always feel safe. I love it here.
I love it here! This placd is nice nice and peaceful! The location is great! And I love calling this place home! They only thing that I don’t like is all the snow!:)
Apartment neatness is an issue.. otherwise everything is good.. people are considerate about your issues. They have different activities always going on in the apartment. It is fun
i cannot wait to be apart of the province community! i already feel at home! the staff was so helpful to my friends and i as we were signing our lease. thank you!
Good stuff. Not much to complain about. Very nice apartment complex. Love the pool, workout center and that it's dog friendly. Maintenance is super good at responding quickly to any issues you have.
I am happy with the convenient location to campus, however, the management and staff seem very unorganized this year and our apartment was not clean whatsoever when we moved in.
Living at province was the best decision I ever made. After one semester here, I still love every minute of it! So much, I resigned my lease for next year as well. Everyone in my building is so nice and very respectful when it is late!
First time living off campus and I love it especially because I live with my friends. Bedrooms are spacious and love that we have our own bathrooms. Our place is the perfect size for us
Great community that is very responsive. They make sure problems are dealt with. The new management is very kind and easy to talk to when there is a problem.
I have just taken a tour and finally signed my lease. The employees at The Province were super friendly and represent The Province well! I cannot wait to live here!
Over all living at the province in Kent has been a great experience! I live the community and the atmosphere! Living so close to campus is also a plus!
love how individualized it feels, makes me feel like im at home, but the walls arent really sound proof like they say, I can hear my roommates and neighbors conversations.
Cheap, mismanaged, and disintegrating. This apartment is an unfortunate waste of valuable space. Consistently trying to nickel and dime its residents while at the same time stripping them of the basic essentials of living. Falsely advertise sign on bonuses and will not honor the gift cards/free month rent/ items they claim to offer.
I really love all of the amenities at Province. I love using the gym at the main house and the pool especially in the warm weather. I will be using the upstairs study area more often!
The province is one of the best places to feel like home. Being an international student it is very important to have a comforting place where you can feel like home and hands down province makes me feel like home. the staff is very friendly and are always ready to help. I would recommend the future residents that you have made the best choice and i bet you wont regret it.
The office staff is always helpful and will find someone to answer your questions. They also have a lot of events for the residents where they bring in food and games.
I really enjoyed staying at the province there were a few maintenance issues that were inconvenient but other than that I have nothing to complain about. maintenance arrives super fast and they’re really nice
I love living at The Province! It’s so close to campus. Having a furnished apartment is extremely helpful. I love Having a washer and dryer in the apartment. Having a personal bathroom is great. I absolutely Love having a pool for the summertime. I wouldnt Want to live anywhere else.
The customer service is not helpful or compliant to our needs. the maintence staff has been great, but the management needs help with how they treat heir residents. they dont care how upset we are, and its insulting.
I am very happy with the Province..This is my second year living here and have had no problems worth mentioning. I would recommend it to any students at kent.
I love this place. The staff are super friendly. The province focuses alot on getting its residents together to have a great comunity. Our apartment is spacious nice and neat. I also love the fact that it’s right in front of Kent State. The services they provide is also very good like free coffee, water service, and cable. Love the Movie theater they have, and the fitness center is there for 24 hours.
Great place to live. Perfect location with amenities like the work out room and pool that are very convienient. Office is always very very helpful with everything
The Province is a great place to live, apparent is big and having your own bedroom and bathroom is great. Apartments are well insulated for sound and I have never heard people outside or next door.
I love living at Province. I lived in a house on North Depeyster last year and the walk to campus was so inconvenient compared to this year. All me and my roommates' friends come over because it's such a good spot.
I absolutely love it here. The people at the club house are kind, friendly, and helpful. The club house itself is beautiful and clean. My apartment is lovely and any time I have a problem maintenance fixs it with in a day. Also the walk to town and class is the perfect distance.
I love how close to campus we are here. It is easy to park my car close to my apartment and there is also a lot fo space on the inside for everything. Everyone is very helpful.
A lot of maintenance issues, but were resolved right away! Love the pool and workout facility! Overall though I had a great experience at Province!
Apartment is great, spacious, clean, in good condition. However the staff is subpar. Maintenance takes days to come out to make repairs, no matter what the status of the repair is. Not interested in many of the events hosted, doesn’t feel like I’m living in a community at all.
The apartment is nice. The walls are too thin. I am in bed and I can hear someone talking in the shared space clear as day. I wish I didn't have to walk so far to take out the trash.
I enjoy living at the Province and it’s amenities. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I wish the apartment would have been repaired before I moved in though. There is still paint all over the floor and a few other areas that need repaired.
Great apartments that are close to campus! I’ve got everything I need and more. I walk to campus and it’s so convienent to not have to find parking all the time.
I Have no complaints. I am very happy with my apartment and the people that live around me. I love how involved province is with their residents
Overall, I've had a great experience here. The only complaint is the parking. My roommates and I really benefit from the location. It is nice to have a washer and dryer in our apartment, especially with four girls!
I love living at the province. It is close to campus and an easy walk to all of my classes. They make their staff available and easy to reach.
I have lived here for over a year now and I love it. My place is the nicest out of all my friends and I love that. I enjoy the club house as well I do wish my apartment stayed warmer in the winter though.
All these things and the location are nice to look at but like the experience and reality of living here hasn't been the best and I feel the people managing the property should work on this and be more accommodating
Very clean and if anything is broken or missing it is replaced quickly. Maintenance is very friendly and it is a perfect location to campus.
the province is very nice to live in, the perfect distance from campus and not too far from down town kent! The pool is beautiful in the summer and the gym and tanning are awesome!
I really enjoy province. The staff is nice and always willing to help. They also set up fun events and the clubhouse is always kept up and clean. Never really any problems with noise or residents.
Had an issue that maintenance fixed quickly and efficiently. The community is friendly and office staff is helpful in answering questions and resolving any issues.
I love everything about living at province. It has a great location in regards to campus. I would want to live here again even though it is pricy but the perks of it are worth it.
I am over two months into living at the Province. I live in a four bedroom apartment and it is even better than I expected. It is very spacious and modern. I love the pool as well. Best apartments in kent!
Province is pretty good for the most part. Price is a little high to pay , probably won’t renew because of that. Had some trouble during move in with the cleanliness and some of the appliances.
The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The apartment complexes are wonderful and the clubhouse has become my new favorite spot to hang out and get school work done. I love the cool events that are held for residents.
Rooms are nice, was super dirty when I first moved in. We had to clean for 2 hours. The reason I moved here was because the location is good.
Nice place to live, getting things fixed takes forever, so you need to bug the office a lot if you want something done. Good location, super close to campus
The province is in a Great location. The staff and maintenance are super helpful and friendly. I love the layout of our apartment and all the amenities the province offers.
Living at The Province has been the best choice I've made my entire college experience! It's nice to live in a community that pays attention to the details, and clearly cares about the resident's experience.
The buildings are really nice and I love being right next to campus. The amenities are really nice and I love having my own bedroom and bathroom.
When I was a new resident my key didn’t work and I was locked out all night and had to sleep in my car. The community assistant never came or returned my calls.
Upon move in, there were a few bumps that took quite a bit to smooth over. But, they were eventually fixed and I haven’t had any problems since.
I love Province. Eveything is orderly and clean and all the management is soo nice! I haven’t had one thing broken yet and I’m sure that it will get fixed right away when it does happen.
I've lived in The Province for two years now and both times have been disappointing that the apartment was filthy when I moved in. Also, we have not had cable in our apartment for over a month now. We have reached out to the office multiple times and they are no help with problems like this. We had to reach out to the cable provider individually to get assistance, and it still doesn't work! If it weren't for the prime location, I probably wouldn't have picked The Province for living.
The Province is a wonderful apartment to stay at. They have great features like the pool, gym, and tanning bed. The apartments were kind of dirty when we moved in though.
so far i have enjoy my time at the province at kent state univesity. it is a short walk from my college building which is super nice. over all the place looks very nice from the outside.
It’s been so great living here so far! The staff is so friendly and nice and every time I have had a questions or an issue with anything they have done whatever they could to help right away.
The resident experience has maintained it's great presence. Even with the trouble that I've been having with my financial situation this year, the staff has been patient and provided great assistance to me.
Rent is overpriced. Nobody in the office knows what they're doing??? That being said, the apartment complex is very nice, I just don't like paying money for things, ya know?
I'm wishing the new internet worked as well as the last company. I can't stream Facetime and everything runs slow when connected to the wifi.
The grounds are dirty and do not get kept up. Multiple neighbors leave their trash out and there’s always empty cups, cans, waste just all around and it stinks. I love the staff in the office they’re great and attentive. I wish maintenance was similar.
I absolutely adore living in this apartment complex. Being in a studio has given me the privacy and all the major necessities I need! I have never been happier during a school year! I also love having my bed and tv in the same room, so convenient. I’m definitely living here again next year!
Living at the province has been an overall great experience. All the amenities in the clubhouse are nice as well as the pool. Not to mention the apartments are very nice and come furnished. The only downside would be parking.
My experience has not been so great thus far. The apartment was not move-in ready when my roommates and I arrived, however, maintenance worked with us to make changes. Additionally, the staff in the clubhouse has not been pleasant. One woman was very rude on the day that parking passes came in, and yelled at people to leave the office and fill out their passes outside the door on the large table. I am hoping that my opinion will change the longer I live here. I had a great experience last year, and I’m not sure why this year seems much worse at this complex.
The staff is super nice and I love the environment. I also really enjoy the location of The Province because it’s super close to the buildings that my classes are in
Overall very good, I like how big the bathroom is and how big my bedroom is. They gym is actual nice and I do use it sometimes. I just wish there were overhead lights
So far living here has been pretty good! Everyone is friendly and when something has gone wrong the staff has been pretty responsive. The apartments are super big as well.
The location is perfect for my classes. The staff is always helpful. Maintenence shows up in a timly manor and they are always kind. The pool is a plus!
I have enjoyed living in province for these last 2 years! It is very close to all of my classes which is one of the reasons I chose to live here. Parking isn’t my favorite thing but the distance from campus makes up for it!
It's been lovely here I especially have loved the new pet-friendly accommodations that they've allowed this year. It's so nice to be able to see cute pets roaming around the area.
There isn’t really much I could complain about living here. All the accommodations are really nice, along with the staff. Parking isn’t the greatest, and there were a few issues with the cleanliness of the apartment upon move in, but all was fixed. Enjoyed living here, but it is pretty pricey
LOVE this place, expect it can be dirty because other people dont know how to take there trash out to the dumpsters. other than that staff can be helpful most of the time
Best apartment complex I've lived in so far. I like the short distance from campus and the pool and gym are super nice. I plan on renewing my lease next year!
its been a good stay so far some of our neighbors have been loud but other than that its been great. being close to campus is the biggest advantage of living here
My experience so far has been great the only thing was the conditions we walked into when I arrived on move in day. It was a little messy and unorganized but other than that every thing has been good.
I really enjoy living at the province because the community is well maintained. The staff is always super helpful and around when I need assistance with anything. When I first moved here I did not have a car but it was close enough to campus, and downtown Kent to walk and easy to locate local bus routes where I was able to find my way to grocery stores.
Love living at the province. I’ve live almost everywhere in Kent & province was the one place where I truly felt at home. The location, the amenities, the community. Above & beyond.
I have lived at the Province for a year and I enjoy living here. The location and amenities are very nice and the staff have done their best to accommodate.
Province is really expensive and while aesthetically it's great the buildings are actually really cheap. Also, when the fitness center was overhauled we were told there was new equipment when really they got on new treadmill and some battle ropes. The private bathroom was nice, though.
First floor bugs 24/7 & staff never fixed any work orders until the 3rd time asking. Walls/ceiling extremely thin so I could here the people above us conversation
This was supposed to be a great commuinity to live in. As it has taken some time, I am adjustig comfortably. When moving in, there were countless issues with the apartment. The floors were torn apart and had paint all over them, the cubbords were filthy, there were dead bugs and dust all over the place including drawers. The air conditioner is leaking, the baseboards are ruined, and there were beer bottle caps everywhere in the rooms. These are just a few of the issues we encountered on move in day.
Great place to live. Have not had any issues since I have lived here.Vey safe and quiet. This is my second year living here and hope all goes well this year.
I have loved living at Province, and I am now entering my second year of residency hear and I am so excited! Everyone in The Province community has always been so welcoming and made living here such a pleasure
I think it's great. I have noticed some problems, but when I told you guys about them you were awesome. You sent someone to inspect the apartment and certain things were in bad shape.
Thank you for your cooperation.
The people are very nice, and cery professional. I was a little but surprised to see the furnitures we had in our apartment looking differently than the ones we saw as an example. Also I saw some issues in the partments that should have been taken care of before we got here, and it should have been clean, yet we saw a lot of issues and we had to wait for some time over the next couple of weeks to address all the issues we had down, but I’m so happy to see them working on it as fast as possible, and for that I’m greatful. Love this place so far :)
My experience at the province has been great so far! The staff memebers have all been helpful. Also, after the internet was upgraded last year, it worked perfectly!
Province is clean and in a great location. The complex is close to downtown but also close to the majority of my classes. The staff if generally helpful as well
The apartment is wonderful. The staff is great at communicating and answering questions and concerns for first time residents. I’m pleased with my decision to choose province.
The facility is very nice and maintenance works super hard. I love the location! It's nice being able to live so close to campus and downtown.
The staff at Province is always super helpful! I love the Province pool, movie theater, and overall setup of the apartment complex. If there are ever any issues with our apartment, maintenance is always on top of things!
I love the Province! I made such amazing friends and experienced so much! Friendly people and a lovely place to live. Very conveniently located as well.
I had a very good experience at province. I loved living there and how close it is to campus. The amenities are nice and convenient. The apartments need a little bit of updating but overall not too bad. I loved my experience of living there despite some minion apartment issues.
Wish i was living there next year but i have to save money. loved living there. sad i never got to use the pool tho since it was always cold and i don’t live around there during the summer.
I lived here a few years ago and now I am living here again. The community is taking steps in the right direction and all around improving the living experience.
Great first apartment for me and super convenient location! I am able to walk to The Fashion School for classes which saves me a lot of money by not buying a parking pass.
I love province. This was the perfect first apartment for me. The staff and maintenance are always helpful and make sure my stay is perfect. The location is the best part since it’s so close to campus. I’m d reccomend it to anyone!
Original apartment had to have all new renovations, poor customer service when applicable, along with frequent inability to login to my resident portal.
The apartments and amenities are very nice, however finding parking at night can be an issue. I also do not like how even after you have renewed your lease you still receive emails asking to renew and advertising monetary bonuses for renewing. That's like a slap in the face everyone who's already renewed.
Good experience and living conditions. Rent is over priced, incentives used to get new lease signers should be extended to those who resigned early.
Good sized apartment with plenty of amenities. Safe property. Walls are thin. Nice furniture, but the mattresses are very uncomfortable. Responsive staff.
It was pretty good, maintence staff were the best. Had problems with electric bill and turns out the heat was always one because of a faulty system.
I love living at the province!! It is very close to my classes which is awesome. Anytime I need maintenance or help with anything the staff if always on top of things.
This is a great place to live a very welcoming environment and great place to live. Has a good gym to work out in with lots of excerside machines
Great place to live has all the amenities you could need and a great pool. Was a great community and workers who help with anything you could need
The office staff is always helpful when answering questions. The maintenence staff it timely and kind. Excited to be living here for a second year in a row.
Province is a great location. It’s perfect for getting to campus and downtown! The community events are fun and who doesn’t love free food right!?
I lived at the province for about 3 years. There have been a lot of improvements to the community. But the parking lot is still the worst issue. Also there is not enough parking spots for residents.
Living here is the best! The amenities, the staff, and proximity to downtown and campus make it worth the price! Sad this was my only year living here!
The maintenance team is so nice and extremely timely. I appreciate that so much. My apartment is super. Wish pool hours were longer and wish there was a “quick shop” in the clubhouse especially during winter months but like gym and some community events even though i never seem to be able to participate because of the times selected to have events.
It's been really relaxing here and very great for social people like me. The fact that they're incredibly guest friendly makes it great when I want to have friends over to hang out.
Front desk is very helpful and quick getting a response back so far! Excited to live there in a couple months! My roommates and I have had a couple questions about moving in and everything has been going smoothly!
I enjoy living at the province. I have experienced no problems whatsoever. I feel very safe and it is very quiet . I have renewed my lease and will be here next year.
Very helpful staff and maintenance is wonderful! I went through some roommate troubles and they took care of it very professionaly and quickly.
i have loved every moment of living at the province. it is a community that welcomes you and enjoys every moment of life. it is a community that I can enjoy learning and living. great addition to my college career at kent state.
Overpriced & built poorly. Maintenance requests are generally filled pretty quickly. Fun place to live and community assistants are helpful.
I loved living here. No complaints whatsoever. Sometimes noise could be an issue, but due to the nature of the complex that was minimal. It was also great that maintence was also very timely for the most part and friendly as well
i love living at the Provence it is great. It is so clean and safe. it is close to campus and that makes it easy to get to everything. rooming is great you can live with your friends and i love that
I have yet to had a bad experience. The staff is so helpful with everything and reports back in a timely manner. I have no complaints about Provice and would recommend it to everyone
living here has been a great experience!!! being so close to campus and to downtown kent it really is the best of both worlds!!! i could not see myself living anywhere else
I enjoyed my time living here at the province. The only thing I would change is opening the pool more time during the school year. Other then that, the management team is amazing and I couldn't be happier with my experience.
I have enjoyed every minute of living in Province. The office is nice and the property is clean. It is worth the money being somewhere close to campus and having a big apartment.
This community is interesting. I have a nice car and just after washing and waxing it someone poured beer and spit on my car. I have no bad blood with anyone but I guess thats just college students being jealous.
An amazing place and super beautiful. Totally worth the price! Only been a resident for short time and have already fallen in love with it!!
Living in province over the last school year has had its ups and downs. While the community and location is very nice, the apartments are in need of a lot of new things such as new furniture, and new paint on the walls. The white paint is so plain and boring and it would make the apartment a lot nicer if it were painted and designed a different color.
The Province is a really affordable place to live. A huge positive is how close it is to campus . Campus is literally across the road !!!!!!
The location is the main reason I choose The Province, out of all of the housing communities I think Province has the smallest apartments around Kent. For the price I think atleast electricity should be included up to an amount.
Wonderful place to live! I have been extremely satisfied with my apartment and the service I have received. I plan to live here as long as I am in Kent!
the province is very nice and convienent for students on campus and is very comfortable and the fully furnished aparments create a less stressfull move in.
The clubhouse is really nice to have to be able to get out the apartment and do work or go workout. They also have free tanning which is really nice and easy to use. The movie theater is really fun to rent out with friends also.
Living in The Province has been the best living experience on or off campus since moving to Kent. I often take advantage of the amenities offered such as the free gym access and printing station. I also attend some of the events hosted by The Province, my favorite being when a local animal rescue brought some of their adoptable animals to promote adoption.
Province community is great, being so close to campus is also a positive as well. The province community does a great job offering various things such as the gym the movie theatre. Also having the pool table and first floor lounge area gives residents a great place to hang out or study
I have had a positive experience as a resident of the Province community. All of the staff that work at Province are very helpful and the amenities are up to date. I specifically enjoy visiting the pup in the office whenever I pick up my mail.
I had an amazing experience touring the province. The staff was so nice and helpful, and definitely made me feel comfortable in my decision to live here.
#1 reason why I live here is for the location. Better location than living in the dorms and nice to have bigger space. It’s aweful that Province keeps raising their rates higher and higher. Even though I am renewing my lease they STILL raised my rate next year another $30+ a month. It seems very unethical to do that to renters who have been here for 3 years. I really enjoy the free actrivites and raffles they have but I’d rather have cheaper or the same rent than a free snack every 2 months
The province is a great place to live. The staff is helpful when answering any questions i have. If i email, i get a response the day of or at the latest the next day. The residents are respectful when it comes to trash and noise, even on the weekends. i have have a great experience so far this year. Since i have had such a great experience, i renewed for next year.
Staff is caring and quick to respond! The apartments are clean, nice, and very conveniently fully furnished! Great location for the price! Parking is also never a problem!
Great apartments right next to campus. A great place to live for a great experience at Kent State. The Province is the nicest apartment complex in Kent and will be for awhile.
Would be a 5 without maintenence issues we have had consistently. It is not the maintenece staff that is the issue it is that we have to bug them to fix things a lot. I love living here besides that detail.
My lone year at The Province Kent has been overall a pleasant experience. One gripe I have with the complex staff is that they will show up to your apartment unannounced at times and complete "work" without your knowledge of them being there.
It’s a great environment to live in. It’s so close to campus and downtown. All of the staff is very nice and attentive. The apartments are clean and spacious.
I really enjoy the size of my apartment and the furniture that comes with it. The location is super convenient and the staff are amazing! When I needed to get an emotional support animal, the staff in the office were so helpful, which I really appreciated.
The staff and maintenance crew are amazing at what they do! I love my apartment and the location is perfect! Right between campus and downtown! Couldn't ask for anything more. #LiveHereLiveWell
It has been great living here so far! The location is great for me and I love the community. Alothough we have had some issues with the amenities the maintenance has always been so sweet and helpful.
I really enjoyed living here! Overall great experience. We only ever experienced problems with plumbing, but that is expected in any living situation. The location is perfect for classes, everything is within 15 minutes!
Great location. Close to campus and downtown. WiFi has gotten a lot better as well. The gym needs some improvement but overall it’s great!!!
Great place I love it here its the best. Don’t know what else to say about it. Idk it’s clean cool chill atmosphere nice place to live has a pool
Living and working at the Province has been the best experience ever! Close to downtown and campus, your own bathrooms and walk-in closets, the pool and gym make living here amazing!
everything has been good, friendly helpful staff. I would like to see more trash cans around the parking lot but i realize that might be a lot to ask because of the size of the property and what that would take to maintain.
I enjoy living here at Province in Kent, OH. The location to campus is really convenient. The staff in the office is always helpful when I have questions.
I really enjoy my apartment, it is perfect for one person. My neighbors are friendly and very nice, sometimes they can be a little loud. I enjoy the clubhouse, it is the perfect place to host a party.
I have recommended this community to my friends based on the service, amenities, and positive experience. Will continue to highly recommend!
I have lived here for two years and its been pretty great! It seems expensive but you are offered for many things to make up for the price!!
The location is great for classes and for walking downtown! I love the clubhouse for working on homework along with being able to get in a quick workout!
I loved living at the province! Super friendly staff and great accommodations. They meet yours needs and have no problem working with you. Great complex and there’s always people around
I really enjoy living at the province in Kent, Oh. The location of my apartment is perfect for me and the staff is always willing to help with any concerns.
The apartment is really lovely. There's a lot of space and with how close it is to campus, my friends always enjoy coming over to hang out whenever necessary. Exactly what I had been looking for.
Love it!!! Beautiful environment. I feel very safe. That is why I renerwed my lease. The staff is always ready and willing to help with anything I need!
My resident experience at Province apartments in Kent, Ohio has been wonderful. It is a great sized place, a wonderful neighborhood and nice location.
Glad I made the choice to live in Province! Very nice apartments and accommodations. Love the gym, especially when it’s too cold to go to the real gym! Happy living here and signed a lease for next year!
The staff is very nice, but when it comes to other residents, this is not a goodnight place to live. Everyone is so loud and when I complain, nothing really gets done.
I had a great experience living here. I wish the apartments weren’t so expensive, but other than that the staff was amazing and I had an overall great experience
The province is a good place to live at. But there are some bugs during the summer time, this makes me feel bad. I would like to recommend the province community to others.
Province is a phenomenal place to live. The complexes are close to campus and very ideal to get to class quickly. Maintenance and work orders are completed in a quick manner. No complaints.
Overall, i enjoy living here. The WiFi is terrible tho. It hardly ever works especially when I’m trying to watch Netflix. Good community to be apart of.
Very nice apartments and great location in regards to campus. The only critique is that the maintenance staff takes forever to get back to you about anything.
The Province has been an exceptional place to live. The staff is very friendly (especially Penny)! The apartments themselves are very spacious and more than enough space for a college student. The proximity to campus is really unbeatable. The only complaint is that there is not enough light in the apartments. There are no overhead lights. I understand that this would be costly to maintain, but it was somewhat of a hassle when moving in because I did not know to plan for a lack of overhead lighting. Otherwise, the apartment has been really great and I can't stress how friendly and helpful all of the staff are.
The Province is a great place to live! Not only are the amenities offered well worth their weight in gold, it’s always great to have a staff trying their best to make you proud to call the Province your home.
The Province Kent is a great apartment complex with a great location right next to the Kent State University campus. All around I have enjoyed my living experience here, with the only issue being slow maintenance service and the poorly plowed parking lot during the winter season. All in all though this is a great place for a college student to live.
I have had a great experience living in province. I think the location is great and the apartment is very nice. I was worried about the cost but I definitely think it is worth the price that I pay.
Like the overall experience, but very plain and hard to have it feel like a home. Do like having the availability of the gym and the clubhouse.
Had a good time living here but the parking situation is really bad. People that dont park in white spots shouldnt be towed either, they should get a ticket.
This apartment complex has been great. Although the gym is pretty small and has limited equipment. Also, the parking here is very poor. There needs to be more visitor spaces and the overall parking lot needs to be widened.
Everything is great except the parking. There are no spots for residents. I got towed in our own parking lot even though I am a resident which is not fair to me.
Love the apartment. However, the WiFi really needs help. It’s rediculous. I have to use an Ethernet cable with everything in my room (laptop, Apple TV, Xbox.) I’m not even capable of scrolling through twitter on your WiFi. It’s not acceptable. It’s 2017.
Overall, my experience with The Province is great. However there are just a couple problems. First, it’s really expensive comparatively to live here. Secondly, too many people leave trash outside there door and it really lowers the class of this place
We have had a lot of problems in our apartment from bugs to mold, but maintenance has done a good job helping us out. Other than that I enjoy it hete especially because of how close it is to campus.
The overall cleanliness and condition of my apartment are poor. I moved and and had to deep clean myself because nobody had come in, paint was left dried all over our hard wood floors, and appliances are not great. Maintenance took 2 weeks to come fix our main kitchen lights and by that time my roommate had climbed up and did it themselves. Overall, I am pretty disappointed in my experience so far.
Great locations, great staff. I have lived here twice now and I would recommend to others. Based on location and amenities you get the most for your money.
Great apartments and staff! Maintenance is quick and friendly. The office dog is really cute too! Always a good experience dealing with them.
I absolutely love the apartment itself! My neighbors are loud though, and just being on Summit Street is hard! Overall I do enjoy Province a lot and can not wait to continue living here after winter break!
i love living here at The Province. It is in the perfect location and has so many amenities that you just can’t beat. the staff is wonderful and do respond in a reasonable amount of time for maintenance requests. the only down fall is that the wifi isn’t the best and there isn’t enough for parking by some of the buildings.
I love using the club house, especially the printing! The area is super safe, you never have random people around your doors. The only thing I don't like is that you can hear people talking outside and I'm on the third floor
I have loved living in province for this year. It’s also very close to my classes which I love. Whenever I have a problem or need maintenance, they come right away.
Everything about the apartments is nice. Location, already furnished and the management. The only thing I don’t enjoy is the WiFi because it is so slow.
Very good location... the apartments are not built well. The maintenance people are friendly, the rest of the staff that I have talked with are not.
I love province! It is a little bit expensive for what it is, and the maintenance takes a while, but other than that, good location and staff.
Living here is such a great experience. Office staff is friendly and willing to help. The maintenance staff is reliable and always follows through with requests in a timely manner.
Really nice place to live and very close to campus! The room is very spacious with your own walk in closet and bathroom. The wifi and gym is not the best but the convenience to campus and downtown is great.
Love it here! Best place to live! The apartments are such nice quality and I feel like I am at home in this community! If something is damaged or broken, maintenance is there to fix it immediately!
I love Province! It’s the perfect place for me to live in Kent! The location is perfect and the apartment are very nice! Living here was the best choice I made and I will definitely be living here again next year!
Living at the Province has been one of the best parts of my senior year! It's close to campus and downtown and the staff and management are also friendly and helpful!
I have loves the location as well as the gym the most. I also really appreciate the themed weeks with food that is supplied, really helps when I run out of food. The staff is amazing as well as maintenance.
The location of Province is great, especially for business majors. The only downside would be the cost of rent. -but it’s bound to be expected due it being a college town
My apartment community is nice. I haven't had many encounters with people in my building though. It would be nice to do things to get to know each other better though. The good thing is our building isn't usually loud and everyone seems pretty normal.
room B in the 3 person apartments is the worst room & should pay less than the other rooms due to size, unattached bathroom, & small closet that is not walk in
very well kept up, very nice & helpful staff, great being close to campus to go to class, workout facility is wonderful, pool is great in the summer
I love province all the amenities are really wonderful and the staff is so great when you first get there you're welcome to immediately and they always have coffee and I have a great parking spot and the pool is great
Province is nice when you get inside. All the furniture is nice. But the walls are really thing and you can hear every thing in each room. The parking lot is very dangerous and there Aren’t enough parking spots.
Great place to live parking is great for residents not so much for guests but great staff working there and maintenence is always very nice and friendly
Living in province was a great decision. I am super close to campus and all of my classes are a ten minute maximum walk. Our neighbors are also respectful which is nice.
The employees in the office are helpful but the community assistants are very unhelpful. The clubhouse and community amenities are very nice but the actual units are very worn and getting maintenance completed is a a challenge
I enjoy living at province. Being so close to campus is very helpful and defiantly makes my college experience easier and more enjoyable. Having your own bedroom and bathroom is so nice and so is having a washer and dryer in your apartment. I have never had any real big issues while living at province and the staff is very helpful.
I’d love to say great things but I really can’t. Our couches look disgusting they are vinyl covered foam pieces that tear even getting sat on for an evening. Or the fact that my outlets are crooked?? It’s jot that hard to align then. The bowl I have to put in the pantry to keep stuff from leaking! The paint all over our floors.... ohhhh or the spray pain on the deck.... or the whole in the ground in our living room..... yeah great place
The Province is great. Th
